Health & Safety

Your Child’s Well-Being Comes First

When you choose childcare, you want to know that your child is safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. At Allen Family Daycare, health and safety are at the heart of everything we do. We maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming home environment where children can feel comfortable while parents can feel confident in their care.

A Clean & Healthy Environment

We take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment for the children in our care. Regular cleaning and sanitizing, proper handwashing, and everyday hygiene practices help create a healthy space for children to play, learn, and explore.

Attentive Supervision

Our home-based setting allows us to provide children with personalized attention and close supervision throughout the day. We remain attentive to children’s activities, interactions, routines, and individual needs.

Safe Spaces for Little Ones

Our childcare spaces are thoughtfully arranged with children’s safety and development in mind. We provide age-appropriate toys, activities, and furnishings while keeping potential hazards securely out of reach.

Health & Illness Policies

The health of every child in our program matters. We follow established policies regarding illness, symptoms, and returning to care to help maintain a healthy environment for all children and families. Families are encouraged to communicate openly with us about any health concerns or changes in their child’s condition.

Safe Sleep & Rest

Rest is an important part of a young child’s day. We follow age-appropriate safe sleep practices and provide a comfortable, supervised environment for children during scheduled rest periods.

Emergency Preparedness

We maintain emergency procedures designed to help us respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations. Emergency contacts and important child information are kept readily accessible, and families are informed of our emergency policies as part of the enrollment process.

Family Communication

We believe parents should feel informed and connected. Open communication allows us to work together when it comes to your child’s health, safety, routines, and individual needs. If something changes during the day, we make sure families are kept informed.

Peace of Mind for Parents

Your child deserves a place where they can feel safe, supported, and cared for each day. We are committed to creating an environment where health and safety are not simply policies—they are part of our everyday approach to childcare.
